Hoot and Give a Hoot (Great Horned Owls) 02-10-22
These images were taken on Thursday, 02-10-22, while it was snowing. I took the first image of Hoot on the nest when I first got out to the area, then I set up my tripod to photograph and took video of Give a Hoot.
Give a Hoot took off early to go find a rabbit for Hoot. Some time later I heard Give a Hoot call to her.
While watching and recording the top of the nest she stood up removing about an inch of snow that had covered her body. The last image of her looking at me was after she removed the snow.
Then it was time for me to pack up and go…
