Scott Kelby's 5th Annual Worldwide Photo Walk 2012 / Minneapolis, MN

On Saturday, 10-13-12, I attended Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk in Minneapolis, MN. This was the 5th annual walk. I've attended all but the first one. This walk was supposed to take place around the area of the Stone Arch Bridge, but due to the possibly of rain it was changed to the IDS Center. We then found we couldn't shoot inside so we walked a few of the streets nearby. I have a link to more images that I took on this walk after these posted images.

Minnesota Renaissance Festival / 09-28-12

On Friday, 09-28-12, I had the day off so I decided to go to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. I had already been to the festival three other times and I was planning to go again in two days for the final day of 2012 on Sunday, 09-30-12.

Usually the festival is only open during Saturday and Sunday, so I knew the crowd would be much smaller. Although I already had many images from the previous three times I decided to go anyways.

I'm glad I went because the ladies from The Vodca Family were wearing different attire and were very colorful as well as the ladies from Head Over Heels. It made for a very nice day to take pictures.

I posted a few images here in this post but I have a link to this days images toward the end of this post. Looks like there are 330 images...now I know why it took some time to finish them. There is also a link to other photos from the Minnesota Renaissance Festival from last year and this year.

Minnesota Renaissance Festival 09-30-12 / Last Day of the Season for 2012

On Sunday, 09-30-12, I went back to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival for my fifth time this year. It would be the last day of the season for 2012. There is always something to photograph. I began the day photographing the "Princess Court" and "The Vodca Family". After that I just roamed the grounds photographing whatever I felt like.

When it got close to 6:30 pm I began photographing some of the belly dancers as they began dance where the "Drum Jam" takes place. The "Drum Jam" began as the crowd began to surround the performers as they danced.

About 6:55 pm I moved from the front of the "Drum Jam" and walked toward the main exit area because I knew the "Drum Jam" would be making its way there in about 5 minutes.

Then it was on through the main gates where the closing ceremony took place.
