I decided to stay in town and go to the fireworks in Minneapolis, since I didn't go up to the Thunder Bay Blues Festival over the 4th of July week-end. This would be my first time shooting fireworks in about 4 or 5 years. Shooting fireworks don't really excite me... but I was in town, so why not it was a nice day.
I knew I had to get down to the Stone Arch Bridge area of Minneapolis early to find a spot. When I got down to the bridge area parking lot a band called
Hot Damn was playing. They sounded pretty good so I decided to take a few shots. Where the band had set-up in the parking lot really wasn't an ideal spot because most of the shot angles had a cluttered background... I posted a few images on Facebook, but are a few more of the band...
