Hoot on the nest...windy day! 04-06-22 (photos and video)

There was a light rain and strong winds walking in the woods to see the owls. Give a Hoot, the male, was in the general area of the nest. The owlets stayed under mom’s feathers while I was out with them. One owlet is seen grooming in the video..

I heard the turkeys calling. I could see two males and one female. There were also a couple deer very close to me.

A while later I heard a crash and when I looked in the direction of the noise I saw that a turkey had flew to a nearby branch. It flew off when I walked out of the woods.

Peaches on the Rum River... 09-24-22 (Photos and video)

Canoeing with my 23 week old Golden Retriever on the Rum River from Anoka County Park South in Anoka, MN to Strootman Park. This was her longest day paddling with 2 hours and forty minutes on the water. We had several periods of light rain during our paddle although it was still a good day on the water.

Peaches canoes the Rum River / Timber Rivers Park 09-11-22 (Pictures and Video)

To make our day more interesting Peaches and I ended up tipping the canoe close to shore after our break. We saw three different eagles several times during our paddle. We paddled underneath one of the eagles that was perched on a branch over the river, although I didn't see it until it flew off.
