On Thursday, 08-15-13, I headed down to see Alison Scott play at the Lake Harriet Bandshell in Minneapolis. This was one of Minneapolis' free music in the parks concerts. It had been a while since I last saw them.
I almost made the ride to Lake Harriet to see her play one week earlier, but luckily I saw her e-mail and caught the correct date which said it was one week later. I had charged up my batteries and everything was ready to go the night before....sure glad I saw the correct date beforehand.
They played from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm with a very, very short break half way mark. I knew I had to get all my shots early because once the lights were turned on inside the bandshell I figured I wouldn't get anymore. All the lighting was directly overhead....I was correct...
It was a very nice evening to listen to some music in the park :) I'm glad I went to see them play.
